Abstract
The optimum treatment method for large femoral bone defects during revision knee replacement has not been established. The porous tantalum metaphyseal femoral cones effectively provided structural support for the femoral implants of a revision total knee arthroplasty. Authors are reporting 2 cases of periprosthetic fracture during porous tantalum metaphyseal femoral cones insertion, and 1 successful case, and from that we are going to discuss about how to improve porous tantalum metaphyseal femoral cones insertion.
